Legacy Park Campground is a shaded oasis in Ashcroft’s desert landscape; situated beside the Thompson River, this campground is within easy walking distance to local restaurants, museum, and Ashcroft’s welcoming businesses and services. We went there for a walk and to look for fossils along the shoreline. There were people in large RVs set up for the weekend. It was quiet until the train went by twice. -

Really great park, friendly hosts, tent spots have power, bathrooms super new and clean, great showers! Awesome views of the Thompson River. Great little town too! Grocery store across the street.
