Pedder Bay RV Resort & Marina

We've had our boat moored at Pedder Bay for over a year now, and I wouldn't want my boat at any other Marina. The staff at Pedder Bay are more than helpful and friendly. The moorage rate is the best around and the fishing in the area is just amazing! A short trip downtown or go the other way to Sooke. Highly recommend! Read Less

We had a great experience here. When we arrived, someone came by our site to talk to us about interesting things to see & do in the area. We rented a boat for our family of 5 only $50/hr. They are equipped to give you a fishing license and boat licensee too so no need to get them ahead of time. We saw lots of people catching big salmon and preparing it right on the pier where the seals would come and wait for scraps! The kids loved seeing the little sea pups. We saw an orca on the ocean when we were at sea and that was so amazing to see on our own without a tour. The resort has a washer and dryer and everything we need to be comfortable. Paid for our RV Campsite in full in the beginning of the year 2024, never received confirmation In August we contacted them and they did confirm that our site was reserved (still no email) in late August I contacted them and asked if there was a boat slip available for my boat they confirmed no problem as there were lots of spaces available. day before we arrived for our camping I took my boat down with a friend so we could park the boat in slip and park the boat trailer still no problem I was with a friend who was also one of 5 friends who were going to camp there as well and talked to the people at the front desk who confirmed our spot and that we were all checked in and when we arrived the next day we could just go to our site and set up Now when we arrive the next day and set up our site and unhook our trailer later that afternoon we were told to move because someone else had our site and had "Paid an extra $15 dollars to hold the site we requested" We were booked for 4 nights the people who took our spot had reserved after us for 2 nights but had paid the $15 hold site fee Wow! I complained to the Mgr Jennifer McKimmie who looked into this but told us it was our fault because we did not enter our email address correctly even though all our transaction to reserve was done online They never contacted us ( they had our cell #) to confirm email address She did nothing for us and we found out two of our friends ran into the same problem Talking to another guest he had been forced to move 4 times in 4 days We like the spot but we and none of our friends will ever go back due to the poor service Regards G.
