Nestled in the Village of Queen Charlotte at the corner of Third & Tenth Streets adjacent to the tennis courts and the skateboard BMX Park. The Bunkhouse Campground Resort with its centralized location on island accommodates 3 venues of services for our guests.
For our vehicular visitors with 5th wheels, trailers or motor homes we have 4-20 feet x 50 feet RV sites with water, sewer and 30 amp electrical hookups available. We have several parking spots for car and minivan parking with water and 15 amp electrical hookups available.
Our fixed roof quarters houses 12- queen size bunks in the dorm, a common room with eating and relaxing areas.
We also cater to the tenting visitor with a 12 site campground on 3 tenting greens with a separate ‘green’ bath house with flush toilet and vanity, a camp sink and a shower with hot water produced by a wood fired on demand hot water boiler.
We are only minutes away from the ferry terminal. Our facility is also WI FI enabled. Having achieved and maintained the Internationally recognized Canada Select, Camping Select rating since 2007 our guests can rest assured of quality services at affordable prices.
24-hr security, heated dorm with bunks, BBQ pit, on-premises chef and dining room. For a wealth of knowledge and a hint of intense specialty, this place is great! The place is well lived in and well loved. Take a moment to talk to Sid and get a great idea of what to do on Haida Gwaii. Not the grandest of places, but super for a night or two. Deserved full rating.
