A local photographer put together this video showing our hometown, Kelowna, BC, during the early days of the lockdown. From the website:
“The clips in this video were captured over several mornings in Kelowna, BC at the peak of the lockdowns implemented during the pandemic. This reminder of the quiet and the stillness in our community at that time is dedicated to the countless essential workers and their families who put their health and safety on the line for all of us.”
It is surreal to watch – to see the empty streets. If you live in Kelowna you know how bad traffic can get, but as we all already know, the Covid-19 pandemic has changed the world.
